Re: registering

I know of people who have done 3. My SIL did three, but people really only bought off one.

We registered at Fortunoff and Bed, Bath and Beyond. We both have out-of-state relatives and wanted to make things easier for them, since Fortunoff is only in downstate NY and parts of Jersey.

Re: registering

I think you should just do 2.

Re: registering

I think that 3 places is fine and will give people more choices... just make sure you don't overlap gifts at the different places...
personally I just want to register at one place...

Re: registering

i read most wedding planners say 3 is the magic number.
personally i did fortunoff, crate & barrel and pottery barn and things FLEW off the pottery barn registry bc it has the most locations.

I think 2-3 is good, so you're fine.

I think 3 is fine...more than that would be too many, IMO

Re: registering

We ended up with 4...

Bloomingdales
Williams Sonoma
Crate and Barrel
Bed Bath and Beyond

We could have done without Bed Bath and Beyond. But his mom was adamant about having at least one store available to his family upstate that they could physically walk into, and not have to purchase online. Bed Bath and Beyond was the only one.

Oh well...

Re: registering

I did 3 I thought 3 was enough - Fortunoff's, Macys and a local shop.

But, now I wish I did Bed Bath and Beyond/and or Crate and Barrel in stead of Macys and the local shop

We did also.

Re: registering

I was going to register at those same three but I ended up with just Fortunoff and BBB because I found they had everything I need between the two and I was happy with the selection between just the two. I say browse their products online first then decide.... you may not need a third. But if you do, I think it's fine.
