registering....

I'm getting married in 7 months...
dunno if and when my bridal shower will be...but i'm thinking sometime around December

When is the best time to register? I read somewhere that you dont want to register to early cause items get discontinued etc...and you dont want to register near a holiday...

what do you ladies suggest?

ets: we will probably register at Target....

I would probably start registering by the end of this month. You probably won't be able to get it done in 1 visit. I know I went back a couple of times. Figure if you're shower is in December, then invites would go out in late October early Nov. I would make sure you're done by end of Sept.


ETA: Call Target and ask them your question about discontinuing. I know that Fortunoff marked a lot of their stuff if it was not recommended for a registry.

I would register as soon as possible. Just my opinion.

Also, I don't know if you know this, but Target has a horrible return policy. You might want to check that out and make sure you are okay with their policy before your register with them.
