Is there any benefit (ie FREE gift) to doing it in person rather than starting one online?
TIA

Re: Registering
I don't think so the onlything that I like is that you can actually see the real deal. like with towels you can feel them and sometimes things look nicer in the pic but when you see it in person your like ugh or you might not like it in a pic and when you see it you really like it

I don't think so either but I do agree it may be better to do it in oerson so you can see the quality material the item is made of. That and with the gun some places offer that is a sure way to get the FH there!

Re: Registering
If you are doing fine china you should go in person....they help you set up sample placesettings, and it helps to see all the different components together...

Re: Registering
I have already registered at Michael C. Fina in person for fine china and other outrageously expensive stuff....
really I want to know if Bed Bath gives anything to me in person, since I am planning to register with them.
I definitely plan to go in person for things that touch my skin (I am VERY sensitive) but I know they have the glasses I want, so I was thinking of just starting it online.

BB&B didn't give me anything when I went in person to register. Just do it online.

Re: Registering
BBB sends you a packet in the mail with a registry guide a catalogue and regstry cards in a nice folder.
For Frtunoff, they have these Registry events and if you go to those there are a lof ot vendors there and you get a $25 gift card!
