Registering

I would be careful w/ Service Merchandise, because they are closing down some stores. They closed down one in Huntington, and a few others on the island.

Hi everyone, we are new to this board, but not new to wedding planning. Well, this weekend, we hit a breaking point. We started adding up #s, hoping to make our final reception site decision. We are so afraid of how much a LI wedding with all of the trimmings will cost that we are actually considering running away to the Caribbean and getting married there w/small reception on the beach. I know that this is the liwedding resource board, not the caribbean board, but I am wondering if any of you have considered this? Are we crazy?? I value all of your opinions and ideas. Thank you!!
