Re: Registering
It is enough of a task with FH and you and they give you checklists of what they suggest you get.
I did bring the checklist home and ask my father to highlight the things we'd really need as opposed to cool gadgets that we may or may not use.

Re: Registering
First nite we went FH came with me and wehn we got too over whelmed we went home! Then I went back about 2 months later on my own and put more items on FH knows what I put and he likes everything. And everyhting else I've added on online.
Dont' take other people they are a bad influence and often make you feel bad about your decisions. It' s the stuff you and FH will have to live with forever (or until it breaks) so you 2 should pick it out!

Re: Registering
I did it all myself. I haven't finished yet. FH doesn't really care and that doesn't bother me in the least.....I don't really need his input to pick out kitchen utensils and towels, etc. It helps that we have the same taste more or less. I did most of it online actually, but will probably go to the stores to check out bedding and china and crystal, cause I'd like to feel what I'm getting. FH trusts my judgement and if he wants to give an opinion on something specific he will, but he really hasn't. It's actually been very nice and stress-free doing it this way.

Re: Registering
I went twice: Once w/ FH until he got bored, and then once by myself to finish.

Re: Registering
I just added some last minute stuff today and made some changes today by myself...and I have to say when I did it on my own it went a lot faster and I didn't feel nagged. FH is a little kid he only wanted to scan, and when I had questions about items he started to fuss. So I would say go together for big things and try the little things on your own.

Re: Registering
I voted 'with my imagnary friend' but just b/c I liked that answer best and my real answer was not there
We had a whole freakin crew (I dont recommend it)
Me, FH, My Mom, FMIL and my little brother who DID NOT want to be there and couldnt understand the concept. (he understood later when explained that its a wish list and ppl buy us all that stuff)
FMIL wanted to go and she gave helpful advise on what to get.
