I was just thinking the same. I think I am going to register before our e-party since we are moving into a new place and would like some stuff now, rather than a year or two from now.

we did. we were waiting till a year before our wedding to register but both of our parents and families kept asking where we were registered so they can buy us stuff for the e-party.. needless to say we registered and it was SOOO much fun! youre going to love it. im addicted to my registries.. im constantly updating them

im registering in december/january and my wedding is next june -- I want to make sure everything on my list will be available but if you want to register for your e-party then do it whenever you want -- some register for their e-parties some only for the bridal showers

I originally didnt want to because as messed up as this sounds, I really wanted money for my e-party to put towards the wedding. My friend didn't register before her eparty and she got more frames than she knew what to do with. I figured I would register so at least if people dont want to give money, they can get something that I will use. JMO

I did but didnt include the cards in the invites.

I am not registering before the e-party b/c we would prefer to get $$$ - we need it to help us pay for the wedding. My mom told me to do it this way. We will register before the bridal shower.

Honestly I didn't register because I have no where to put the gifts right now and we need the $$$$ to pay for the wedding. I will before the shower.
