Registering

Registering

hi ladies....so FH and I really need to get to registering.

We're planning on just registering at Macy's (Smithhaven mall) and then if we can't find everything we want to register for there we'd register at BBB.

1 - Do we have to call and schedule an appt. at either Macy's or BBB to register?

2 - How late do they usually let you register? I'm not getting out there until 7pmish so I wanted to see if there were set registering times.

3 - Anything else I should know about registering?

dont try to rush registering into one or two days. FH and I spread it out over a few days and tackled specfic things each day. like one day we did all our kitchen stuff, another day we did all the fine china, etc... it made it a lot easier.

Also, i know that at BBB even if the store is closed, as long as you get there b/4 closing they do not mind hanging around so you can continue registering. it was actually fun having the whole store to ourselves!!!

We registered at both Macys and BBB. They basically give you the gun and go.

We really don't have a lot to register to for whichi is why I think we'll get it done fairly fast....but that's a great idea to spead it over a few days rather than rushing it.

I thought we didn't need a lot either! But once you have gun in hand you just keep adding things! lol. I highly recommend BBB. They have EVERYTHING and your guests will appreciate being able to use those 20% coupons!

Also-remember you can always add things online as you think of them. I just added an aerobed b/c we always have overnight guests and the futon isn't the most comfy thing.

me and FH registered in the Macys in Walt Whitman, and we were told the selection in Roosevelt Field and Manhasset are the best.

Hope that helps! Have fun

Hi!

You want to give yourself enough time to register! FH and I did 3 stores in one week! You can either do it online or in the store. I would do it in the store. They give you these little guns and you get to go around and scan items. It's a wonderful expierance! I deftinaley wuld recoomend it!

I would register at Target, Kohls, JC Penny's, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Linens and Things, Macy's.

** Note** If you sign up at JC Penny's they give you a free bridal planner plus a free engagement Potrait!!!

FM if you would like more info!

No apointments necessary - try to avoid going on the weekend when it is crowded. Take your time. 90% of our registry was done online both on BBB & Macys - HAVE FUN !!!

Thank you ladies.

I think I'm going to start my registries online and take it from there since I'm way behind on registering.

Thanks again
