I know this had been asked before but when is everyone registering? I think that we should do it before the holidays, but FH thinks it's silly sice we are not getting married until August. What does everyone think. I am being silly to want to register already? TIA!

We registered in the beginning of september and we're not getting married till May. it was one of the first things we did. Most places you can change it online if you decide you want other stuff or don't want certain things anymore.

I registered in June right before my eparty and that was because many of my friends didnt do this and ended up getting a million photo albums and frames/ candles. It ended up working out because we got some of the things off our registry and they were things we actually wanted and needed. I think you should. I am only a month before you and I registered 5 months ago. JMO

I just registered and perfect timing too! I registered at Macy's and if you link your Macy's credit card to your registry anything you buy in the store is 10% cashback. Also, if anyone buys anything off of the registry for you for the wedding/shower its 5% cash back. After the wedding is over Macy's gives you the total (from the 5&10% cashback) on a gift card for you. So guess where I am shopping for the holidays!!!!! Plus our family knows we have the registry so they are probably going to buy us stuff off the registry. Hope that convinces your FH to register now!!!

Not getting married till July, and I did it. But I know that some stores like Crate and Barrel discontinue things a lot, so be prepared to update.

We're registered at BBB, Fortunoff and Pottery Barn, we registered before last christmas and we're getting married in JUNE, it's good for people who want to get you guys something for Christmas or for a birthday. We had a blast doing it, so go and have a good time!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
