Re: registering

I did 90% of my registering online. The only things we registered for in the store were bedding, pillows and curtains.

we started online and then found more stuff we liked in the store. its easier to see it in person with some things.

Re: registering

i did my bbb registry online and then went into the store to add other stuff. But then i was old after my bridal shower that a lot of my items were 'online purchase only'. Even something as simple as my towels had to be shipped, they couldnt be bought in the stores. i didnt realize this until after my shower and many of my shower guests commented on how it was hard to go to the store and pick up the item they saw on line. So i would just keep that in mind when setting it up online.

i haven't registered yet but i've started looking online at some things and will go to the stores later this summer/early fall to register. i think it's good to look online to get an idea but there's typically more selection in store. plus, i like to see everything in person.

I definitely recommend at least talking to a registry consultant in each of the stores you choose. They give you some great tips, and there are definitely items that you should see in person to make sure you like. You don't have to spend hours with the consultants (unless you want to). However, if you have a good idea of what you want already, there's no reason not to do it online. HTH

same here

i fortunately caught this before my shower, but yes, if you do BBB online, a lot of the items are 'online purchase only' so it is best to do it in the store

Re: registering

It doesn't matter where you open/start your registry because you can always edit in-store and online.

But, I would say definitely go to the store and TOUCH all the items you're interested in. You can't feel quality online!
ex: FH and I registered for some Riedel stemware but when we held them in-store, we took them off our registry with the quickness bc we know we'd break them

We did the same thing. I did have some changes after I saw things in person.
