I did it strictly online. It was super easy.
i went to the store for macys so that I could see the fine china in person and feel the weight of the silveware I was going to register for. Certain items like that need to be looked at in person I think

When i did my BBB registry i started in the store because certain things i needed to see in person to decide on colors or textures. then over time i added a lot to it online.
I agree with everyone else! I started in the store then went home to look at the reviews of each product. If they weren't good I would change it. Also I added some stuff that was only available online.
I did most items online because I have a lot of out of town guests on my side. Some things you scan in the store are not available online and may not be available in the city where the OOT guests live. I wanted to add items that were available to everyone.
We did some things in the store and the rest online.
ITA with everyone above. We initially went to BBB just because we were dying to use the scanning gun to register with, haha. We update it constantly online, though.
