How far in advance should you register? I'm getting married June 29th but I may only get a chance to start in January

I started the week after I got engaged LOL

We registered right before our engagement party. Never too early to start!

Re: Registering

I didn't register yet myself! We don't have our own place yet so I didn't want to get all this stuff with nowhere to put it, lol

January seems a good time to start.

We registered early because we had the day off together and that rarely happens when it's not a holiday. However, we didn't move in together yet but now that we know where, we have a better idea of what we want/need for the space we'll have and add/delete things a lot. I think January is the perfect time because if you register too early, things get discontinued.

I'm getting married in August and I started my registry a couple of weeks ago. So, about 10 months in advance.

I am getting married 6/7/14 and just registered last weekend. Only because people were bugging me about it. We live together now and don't need too much so I only have a few things. I plan to go back out myself and add a lot of small things that he thinks we don't need but do lol

We still haven't registered, probably going to do it in January. I know that my shower is in April so I still feel like it's plenty of time even though we had an engagement party. It just kind of fell to the bottom of list of things to do.. whoops!

I just registered last weekend. I don't think it's ever too early to start. I have a friend whose getting married 6 months after me and she's already registered.
