How do you feel about FH and I including cards that say where we are registered in our STD's?? Someone mentioned this to me and I am not sure how I feel about it. Help! TIA!!

According to etiquette you're not supposed to do that bc then it seems like you're asking for gifts. You're supposed to let that information go out with the shower invitations, since that's what the shower is for and it's thrown by someone else. If someone wants to get you a gift now then they'll ask you, or someone close to you, where you're registered. HTH!!

Personally I don't like that becuase it seems as though you are asking for gifts and the shower is where you traditionally insert registry cards.

Thats what I thought I felt weird sending them out, it makes it look like we are asking for gifts. FMIL mentioned doing this and I said I felt weird, she said usually bridal shower invites dont go out until a month or so before the shower but honestly the way I feel if people want to find out where I am registered they can ask me right.
