Registering at a Bank

My fiance and I have been living together already for almost 4 years and we've been through 2 apartments. We are definitely going with an alternative registry plan. We probably will register at a Travel Agency and have contributions put towards our honeymoon. We really need to save money for a house. We went to Macy's to look around at housewares,etc. and we need NOTHING! On top of that, his parents had an engagement party for us and we already received gifts we don't need. (We have 4 glass/crystal bowls already!)

We are going to register for some linens, bed items at a Macys or something for people who don't feel comfortable, but definitely NO more kitchen items! Let me know what kind of luck you have with the bank idea or if you hear any other options for alternative registries.

I know it's a bad thought,but my bridal shop went out of business and because I paid with a credit card,I got every cent back.
