They basically have the same stuff, right? Are the return policies the same? Prices?
I'm dragging FH out to one of those stores in just a few minutes to set up a registry... which should we hit?

we did BBB...it was fun...i think its pretty much the same, although i know BBB will give you CASH for your returns...not sure about LnT

Thanks for the reply. Cash back for returns is right up my alley - I know too many people who've gotten like 5 toaster ovens!

BBB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- best return policy (gives cash back, dont need a receipt). they even give you full price back, when most people buy things 20% off
- better coupon policy (will honor BBB, expired BBB, LNT, expired LNT coupons) and let you use multiple coupons
- have a lot of specials (etc: $50 gift card with $200 lenox purchase, free soup bowl, etc)
- more convenient for people because there are more of them

Go with whichever one is most convenient for your shower guests, distance-wise.

my issue w/ BBB was that in order to get a printout of the registry, we had to wait at customer service....
my guests will be buying post-holidays and that would be terrible for them....
so we went with LNT

I worked for LNT in HS--and I love BBB so much better--I feel like it is higher quality or something It is prob all the same--but I also feel that BBB has more locations

I registered at both, mostly BBB. I got a lot of my plates and kitchen stuff there. We'll need everything since we don't like together. And I got the bed linens and bathroom curtains and closet stuff at LNT. I personally liked BBB better.

i LUV BBB.. i always go with the intention of just picking up one thing... NOT .. i end up spending at least $100 bucks. also, heard they are opening a new one in new hyde park literally 2 minutes from my house. I can't wait

LnT wont give cash back. FH is a manager there.
I registered at both. LnT had things that I liked that BBB didnt and vice versa

I actually did both since some people I know won't order over the Internet and actually go to the store to buy the item.. so I decided to give them a choice.

Update: I ended up going to BBB. The china selection was really sparse (I went to the one in Babylon), but other than that, the people were nice and the selection was good. Plus, the return policy is AMAZING: you can apparently return ANYTHING off your registry, used or not, for months. Like, the guy said that if after 6 months I don't like my sheets anymore, I can bring them back and return them for cash. That's CRAZY! But... really cool.

we went to the BBB in the city on 19th.

i think they are pretty much the same and you can use their coupons at both stores. i would go with bed bath & beyond though
