registering woes

so i dont know how many places we should register. we're already registered at target but i was thinking maybe bbb as well? i cant really think of a third. now the other problem, we live together already. we have everyday stuff, we have appliances, we have my grandmothers china, what the eff are we going to register for? we had registered for more bed stuff (sheets, comforter set) but FMIL got it all for us for christmas. I'm stumped

Why did you need to register at more than 2 places....seems like you did a good job registering for what you need. I've lived with FH a long time too...we're registering for things we have but would like something new. A few people mentioned registering for honeymoon stuff and people could contribute to that....

fh and i only registered at bbb. i think it would get too confusing for us to register at more than one place. i think the honeymoon registry is great idea cause it helps you pay for all your excursions.

well it does depend on your number of guests, for like 100 i would say 2 stores is enough, but from what i have seen, i think most girls do 3 stores.

yea, i was looking at sample floorplans the RH gave us and it looks like we could probably go as high as 195 and be ok. budget-schmudget lol

We are only doing BBB as of yet. If we do anything else, we might choose target. We're not expecting a ton of shower gifts though so BBB will prob be fine...

we are just going to do BBB & Macy's. i like the fact they constantly have coupons too which will make it easier for people to purchase things.

Re: registering woes

We are doing BBB, Fortunoffs and Macy's...that way all of our out of town guests have at least one store they can buy for us from.
Once i register for my third store the registries will be broken down like this:
BBB - china set, kitchen utensils, appliances that we really need and things that we can afford to get if they arent purchased after the wedding with the completion incentives

Fortunoff - crystal ware, Lladro, barware, appliances that we dont need for everyday use

Macys - Bed-in-a-bag, sheets, down comforters, towels, washcloths

Also if we see something cool in any of the stores that we dont see in others we are going to add that too
