I just had a question for everyone regarding exactly when the FH and I should start registering? We got engaged back in April and the wedding isn't until 6/28/09. We just moved down to Charlotte, NC so I don't think we're going to be able to have an engagement party. The FH doesn't want to register until next January but I think we should register sooner. Any suggestions?? Thanks =)

I have the same feelings, no idea when to register...I think I am going to wait until summer 08

I would hold off on it until you definately need to have it!!! Your taste my change a little and you would end up altering the registry 1, 2, 3, 4 times....

i registered a few months ago because my mother MADE me... her friends were complaining to her that they wanted to get us stuff, so she convinced us to register...
ask me how much stuff we have from the registry?

I would register soon, you said you aren't having an eparty but, you can still get gifts and with doing the reg you can get things you want.

Register when you feel you're ready. FH and I did our registry about a month ago. We're having an e-party so figured people who want to get us gifts can get from the registry. And registries these days are so convenient that you can add or delete things from the internet so you could always change your mind on certain colors, patterns, etc
