I know a lot of girls on here registered already so just be aware that if you register too early - some stuff can be discontinued. I registered at Macy's a couple of months ago for all my bedding and I checked the website last night, and it's all CLOSE OUT sale!
I'm going to have to go over my BB&B registry soon. There's some stuff I no longer want, and I need to police FH... he went batshit with the scanner when we went last fall.
I never thought about that! Guess I'll start periodically stalking my registry to see if it needs updates. Thanks!
This happened with our luggage!! We even received a piece for our engagement party so we just recently had to bring the luggage in, return in, get store credit, pick a new set and re buy! Oyyy I watch it all the time because I like to be on top of it incase something like that happens again.
That's why I decided not to register with Macy's. They have great prices and always have amazing sales...but their turnover is way too fast. They switch in and out products so quickly.
Thanks for the warning Marie! I had read that somewhere about Macy's when I was trying to figure out where to register. BB&B doesn't seem to have closeouts too often, so all my towels, etc. are registered on there

I registered awhile back, but I check periodically and switch things out as they go discontinued. I really wanted to go with Macy's because 5% of every gift bought towards the registry and 10% of every purchase I make with my Macy's card goes onto a gift card at the end. My sister registered at Macy's, and ended up getting almost $500 back on a gift card. Also, if there is anything left to buy on your registry after the wedding, you get like 10% off the items if you buy them.

That's why I'm not registering until the day I send out my STD's!!! I want the newest and best stuff!!

this is the reason I did it too. In fact I HATE macys and NEVER shop there but my cousin got so much money in rewards it was stupid for me not to.
I'm so scared, we registered before I even registered on here. We have like 6 pages of stuff...wahhhh!!
I've noticed this too with my BB & B and Macy registries. I registered about 4 months ago and some items are now on clearance. I had to change my bedding collection 3 times already.
