Re: Registries?

We have registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and plan on registering either at Macys or Fortunoff's. We registered with BBB because we pretty much found everthing we wanted and they always have coupons. I am still torn on Macys or Fortunoff's, but I am only going to be registering my fine china and stuff like that.

We registered at Macy*s because its one of my favorite stores and I thought it would be easier for alot of our guests... We're also going to register at Bed Bath and Beyond.

BBB and Fortunoff

I highly recommend BB&B because they have an AMAZING return policy and some other great features.

We registered at Macy's and Pampered Chef with about 10 things on a registry at BBB b/c I couldn't find some things elsewhere. Macy's and Pampered chef have incentives when you get money back and free stuff for registering with them so it's a win win deal!!!

we registered at Crate & Barrel and Fortunoffs

We just signed up for the Fortunoff's Dream Card credit card.....it's a great deal. I don't love having extra cards but this was a great deal.....you get points for the purchases people make off your registry. And for every so many points you get a reward certificate after the wedding. And even though we registered last year and purchases were already made, they backtracked our points to include all previous purchases. The lady in the bridal dept. figured it out -- if everything was bought off our registry we'd end up with a $600+ reward certificate. Nice, right? And with the first purchase you make on it you get a $25 reward certificate back.

Re: Registries?

I have three, Macy's, Crate and Barrel and Tupperware, which I doubt will even get touched cuz no one really knows about that one.

A lot of the stuff I put on them are duplicates of the same item but in different styles and/or colors. Only b/c I want to be sure they have plenty of options.

I'm with her. I actually didn't like registering.

We chose BB&B for a few reason, one of which most folks may or may not choose em:

1) cash back policy
2) seemed less ridiculously expensive than some of the other chains
3) they give almost all the political money they give to dems.

registering for us was hard, because we were trying to find labor friendly products, and some things aren't made under thebest conditions. We also registered at two online fair trade stores, global exchange and viva terra. they had most of the housewares we're looking for.

Re: Registries?

I registered at BBB and Fortunoff. I would register at 2 places - just so that its more convenient for your guests (esp if they reside all over the place)

Re: Registries?

We did crate and barrel, BBB and fortunoff... We probably would have just done BBB and Crate and Barrel, but they didn't have our china in stock and it made us nervous (they still don't two months later, so good choice on our part)
