Registries.. how many is too many?
So I finally got around to registering - did Fortunoffs and Macys-- but really like some dinnerware from WilliamSonoma and some PotteryBarn serving items. Is four registries too much??

I think we have 4 or even 5. we spread it out. put some really cute cheaper stuff from crate & barrel. incase someone can't afford to spend $100 or maybe wants to spend a lot on one thing, then maybe only $25 on a little thing.
We're doing 3....but if I found something that I HAD to have at another store, I'd consider adding a 4th.
We have 2. Personally, I wouldn't do too much more than that.
I've always been told the more the better...that way your guests have a range of prices and locations to shop at...we have 3.
I only did BB&B, but FH and I bought a house almost two years ago and had bought alot of what we needed ourselves, so everything on our registry was just things taht would be great to have, but that we didn't really need. But I've heard of people doing 3 and 4 of them, I didn't think anything of it...If anything it might make it easier for people to buy stuff for you!
I don't think it's too much. You want to go with things that you like and if they are in 4 different stores, so be it.
We did 2, I'd just be afraid you'd never get all the stuff off more then 2 registries
I was told on more than one occasion 3 should be the max
We had three registries (Macys, Bed, Bath & Beyond and Crate & Barrell).
