FH and I registered in October since that was when our engagement party was. we weren't going to so early, but people we asking. Plus it was nice getting things for the holidays off our registery! We registered at BBB and Fortunoffs.

Ya im getting mixed info people say i should register right after i got engaged which was only a few weeks ago lol and some people say wait until its the one year date?? i dont know what to do any Ideas =)

i registered for some stuff at Fortunoff before my eparty but i will do the rest at the end of the year!

My family told me its good to do it early bc if people want to buy you things for any reason they have something to go by. I think the one year mark is good, that is probably when i am going to start it.

We registered a little bit ago b/c we are having an engagement party and I was told were already asking if I was registered like the day after I got engaged, LOL! Since we are starting fresh with nothing we need everything so we've been doing little by little.

I registered soon after our engagement because so many people asked us....at Fortunoff, Crate and Barrel and BBB. We had our e-party last month (with our friends) and FMIL is throwing another e-party next month with family and family friends.

Our registry has been moving well :)

We hope to register some much needed towels, sheets later (closer to the wedding).

Additional note: We did BBB online and it was very easy. Crate and Barrel has a great in-store gadget (the scanner) that is very easy to use. Fortunoff I found the scanner to be out-dated and if you get there too late, you get the older version of the machine

Isn't it great that you can do that now?! It's such a help and when you have a rainy sunday (like yesterday) you sit at home and update it!! Hope you have fun and enjoy it!!

Probably end of summer or early fall. It's really so bad for our reasoning though........I want to register before the holidays so people get us stuff off it for Christmas/Birthday gifts.

ETA: we registered b/c we had our e-party already and as soon as we got engaged everyone asked us where we were registered.
