Do you think its too early to make a registry??..many people have told me yes..but im having an engagement party next month and a few asked me if i had one...
Ok we were going to wait a bit longer to register, but so many people are asking we're going to do it after the holiday...
If you're having an engagement party, that's the perfect reason to start a registry! If YOU think it's too early, then you don't have to, and if people are going to give you gifts they'll either bring cash or try to pick something out for you on their own. But if there's stuff you already want / need - Go for it!
we registered as our e-party is next month
I had alread registered because we though we were having an engagement party. If you are going to have one it's nice to have a registry. You should only register for what you need/can use now though. Someone in the store should be able to help you out.
if ur having an e-party.. i would DEF register.. we didnt have an eparty so i didnt register just yet! and i wont untill prob a year away from the wedding.. cuz i have no idea when im having my shower and i know my mom wants it to be a surprise!
If your having an engagement party I would register for a few things. This way your guest can get you things off of there. Thats what we did. We got engaged in April and started our registry in June cause our engagment party was July 1. We got a few things off of there. And alot of our china already. It's a good thing.
Please don't mis understand what I'm about to say, but we decided to register eariler then we intended b/c alot of people want to know where we're registered, and we're started recieving registry like items as gifts... Since FH & I have most of the items (ie, we have 18 martini glasses, & a blender)we have gotten as gifts and don't need duplicates...
I registered already because my e-party is coming up. The thing is that just about everyone we know gives money at an e-party, not gifts. BUt one person did ask us and i decided maybe we should do it just to give someone that option only if they ask. We also just registered at one place for now, later on I will register at more places.
