You can do it now.... just be aware that some things get discontinued and whatnot.... I registered at BBB and from time to time things get pulled off my registry (says that you cant buy it online) and then like a couple of weeks later it comes back in stock. You can just keep checking it and updating it.... thats what I do

Our wedding is in October and we registered last month. I wanted to open a Macys card and use it to get all those points with my CHristmas shopping and start rackin up points for a gift card after the wedding! :)
We are waiting on bedding/linens/towels bc they come and go with seasons.

It's definitely not too early! Besides, you can constantly go online and make adjustments to it (most places have that capability online).

I would wait for linens/bedding b/c sometimes the styles or colors change with the seasons.

I have been adding to it as we go along. Especially as we set up the house and realize things we need. I figure shower invites will go out in March so I am waiting until just before to go finish with linens and such.

Not too early at all. My shower is in July and I'm almost done with my registry.
