I don't know what to put on my registry. It is bad to have only 20 items and I have 150 guest. I have a apartment that I lived in for two years, and I don't really need any Kitchen, Bed and bathroom stuff. The only thing I MUST HAVE is the 'KitchenAid KSM150PS Stand Mixer, 5 Qt. Artisan'
I put Fine China on there, but I think I am going to be like my mom and never use it. So I don't understand the point of it. I just really need help of what I should put on it. I really just want the money from my guest. I didn't put it on the invitation, but hopefully they know that based on looking on the lack of items on the registry. What do you ladies think?

Re: Registry
Put things on it that you would like to have but totally don't need (wouldn't spend the money on for yourself) !!

Re: Registry
personally I would only give a gift at a shower since this is tradition and then money for the wedding. If you really don't need much register for things you might want replaced or things you would never buy yourself. Not sure if this helps but even if i went to a gift registry and it was empty I still would not give a cash gift I would buy an actual gift.

Re: Registry
If you dont have enough for people to buy...you will get random things you don't want. Be careful!

Re: Registry
Fh and I had everything already that we needed (we had already been living together). We put stuff we wanted, but would never buy ourselves, as well as upgrades. We already had staples such as iron, pots and pans, knives etc. but we registered for better versions of these items.

Re: Registry
We registered for new everyday bone china white dishes, new nice towels, nice new knives, a drill, new tupperware, etc. Then we made a HM registry for $!

I agree - showers I give gifts and weddings I give money. I have an apartment with my FH. I've lived here for almost 4 years now, but things need to be replaced. Plus, I registered for models of electronics and such that I would NEVER buy myself. We registered for luggage, too! All the pieces were already purchased!! In fact, the gift registry has been perfect for Christmas, too!!! I got tons of stuff!!
