Registry

Do you find it weird that people will buy stuff for you and have it added to your registry?

We haven't updated our registry since before our eparty last summer. I am fixing it up now because my shower invites are going out soon. So i'm looking and i see things that say 'requested 0; purchased 2.' I think this is too funny!

Someone added a $45 cabinet organizer....how do they know the dimensions of my cabinets to even know it will fit!

It could be that they bought something for themselves as they were buying something off your registry. If they do that the item gets 'added' to your registry but it doesn't always mean that they bought it for you.

really? I have never heard of that? I've bought things for myself while i was registry shopping...are you sure?

I mean I'm not 100% but it has happened to me before - Like I would buy something for myself when I bought a gift and then notice it would be on their registry after.

I am not so sure people can just 'add' things for you.

It actually happened to me too at BBB. Someone was buying a table cloth for me. I registered for oblong, they accidentally picked up oval. When they went to the desk they gave my registry info and it automatically got put on my registry with items requested 0 items purchased 1. After I returned the oval, BBB took it off.
