Registry???

Should I registry SOON Even thought I know my Bridal Shower will be in June/July?

yea!! get it out of the way. actually, people found out that we registered (prob from FMIL) and we rec'd random gifts in the mail

I registered soon after we got engaged bc I thought MAYBE we'd get engagement presents? We did not But I'm sooo glad it's over with.

Ok Will send an email NOW to request March 11 off =-) So i can do it with Fh on Friday afternoon

also just some advice. I wouldnt just register in person I would also look online because there are a bunch of things that are either only available online or at the store and you want to give your guests variety. I know for now all my gifts have been made online.

I wanted to and I've seen a lot of girls from our boards doing it but my sister (she's organizing my bridal shower), said that it's too soon and that stores maybe having new in a couple of months

That is what I was thinking.. What if it is TOO soon and they get MORE new stuff and discontinue stop i have on the registry?!!!

I thought the same thing (I registered in 2009). The items that got discontinued wasn't a lot. A few items, but by now, my taste changed so I didn't mind. Register now!! It's easier to add items once you have the registry set up!! Buena suerte chica!!!

I wouldn't worry about this too too much. Usually things change around january they put all new things out. I've been registered since january and nothing has been discontinued yet.

I will make sure to get that out of the way n get it done!

It definitely is good to register now cause I did mine early in 2010 and even though you may find a few things that discontinue, it better to have majority of you selections picked because alot of my stuff are still there. The few that were no longer available I just changed to something else.

Trust me you will be revising your list of gifts many times anyways, it's better to get started now so you don't have to much to do later.
