Ok, so we registered at BB&B & Bloomingdales. I added a third I don't have any intention of putting the cards in the shower invites, but it's linked to our wedding website... As ghetto as this sounds, I put items that we plan on buying anyway, and the completion discount would be nice... My dilemma is that I feel like my guest will see 3 & think I'm greedy... So I'm curious as to how many places you registered at...

Re: Registry
I registered at 3 different places -BBB, Macys and Sears. Sears had the vacuum that CR rated as a Best Buy. I think my FMIL just wrote the names of where I was registered on the bridal shower invite. I've read that your supposed to register at 3 places to give people choices.
I don't know. HTH.

Re: Registry
I only registered at BB&B. FMIL was insisting that we needed to have 2 but I found everything I needed at that one place. If they didn't have everything I needed than I would have registered at 2 or 3 places, I don't think it's greedy.

Re: Registry
we registered at Macys & BBB and also Mikasa.com but my sister never put down that we were registered at Mikasa so we didn't get anything from there but i don't think its greedy to have registered at 3 places

Re: Registry
I don't think its greedy at all. I registered at BBB, and the only reason I did one place is just because I am entirely too lazy to do it anywhere else. If I was motivated I would probably pick another place or 2!

Re: Registry
i registered at 3 too....orig i only wanted to do 2, but there was another store that had cute stuff and i just had to register there too!
i think there is a way to sync them all on my registry.com but ive never tried it
but i dont think its greedy to do three - it gives guests more options....

Re: Registry
I didn't do a store registry.
But I don't think 3 registries would show that you are greedy. So, don't worry about it.

Re: Registry
Were registered with Bloomingdales and amazon's universal registry (which allows you to import items from any store you want).
I personally don't feel like we need a 3rd, mostly thanks to how amazing amazon is, really.
IMO, if you can justify having 3 registries, go for it--but don't do it just to add a third. Do it if you feel like you need stuff that you are unable to get from the other 2 you already have.

I am only registered at one but thats bc Im lazy-- you can register at however many places u want! I actually think it makes it easier for your friends/fam bc they have more choices!

Re: Registry
We just registered at Macy's and pretty much found everything we wanted there. I decided on 1 place partly because registering takes a long time and since they had just about everything we wanted, I wanted to make it so we had a better chance of completing the registry or coming close. Plus with Macy's you get the rewards gift card at the end.

Re: Registry
i registered mainly at BBB but also did a small registry at Sears
most shower invites ive gotten these days have 2 or 3 registries on them - definitely not greedy

Re: Registry
Ok SO I don't feel so bad for having three registries...
I have to admit tho, I only added the third (Target ) for the gift cert, for registering & the special on 'home' products of 10-25% off, until 5/29 for 'club wed'...
I just went on to order the items, and someone purchased 3 items! That is SO strange to me I literally just put it up... When items were purchased off of the BB&B & Bloomies, registry, they were sent as engagement gifts...

Re: Registry
I think registering at more than two places gives your guests more options. Maybe someone is not near bloomingdales so they can go to Macys or BBB.

Re: Registry
i registered at 2, but if you registered at three that is totally fine too! i would def include them all in your shower invite though bc i no one will look at the site if they have 2 registry cards...everyone will assume those are the only places you registered at
