Registry

Wondering if you ladies just made your registries online, or if most go to the store to scan the items. What do you recommend is better?

Re: Registry

I have to say I saved a few hours by starting my BBB registry online. First I made a Wish List, and then I moved it to a registry the evening before our appointment to go to a BBB store.

In my opinion, you do need to go to the store to see and touch things. That does not mean you can't browse and start the registry online, but the in store visit gives you a bit more clarity on what you really want and need.

have fun!

Re: Registry

You should check out myregistry.com You can register for literally anything from any website and it keeps it all condensed into one site. Plus, if you've already registered at certain stores, it can link your registry to the myregistry page. very cool!

This!

What I liked going to the store was just scanning everything and then I cleaned up my list later. Going to the store will take hours and you will feel exhausted.

I think you should go to the store...some thingg look fabulous online, but in person look cheap....besides, scanning is fun!

we started it online and then went to the store... and actually ended up replacing most of the online stuff with other items because they look better in person.

It def did save lots of time filling out paperwork in the store though!!

We started in the store then finished our registry online. We liked to be able to see the stuff and FH loved to scan everything!

You should go to the store to start, that way you can touch and feel and see the quality of things and get an idea. Also, there are some things that are in the stores and not online. Also, it can be time consuming and exhausting, but it's so much fun to run around the store clicking the little gun.

I agree - some items you NEED to see. For example, if you plan on getting china, you really should go to BBB and select each piece of your formal placesetting - for example, goblets, silverweare, etc.

A lot of stuff I just picked online. I couldn't be happier with what I chose!
