Registry Annoyance

Registry Annoyance

Why on earth are people buying me things I already have? There was a reason I didn't put a crock pot on the registry; I got one as an engagement gift and I kept it IN the box until I have more space.

Looks like I will be making returns.

Buy me the things I don't have people!!!!! UGH!!!!

(i know I know, at least they're buying me things, but still!)

I have a co-worker that says she never shops off of registries because she thinks that they're 'impersonal'. For my shower she happened by chance to get me something that was on my registry, but it was the wrong model and a duplicate of another gift (which was the correct model). While I really, really appreciate the thought, if she had only glanced at the registry and seen it was on there, and already purchased, she would have saved me the hassle of returning it.

Apparently someone bought a different pot set that I had on there. And I am so mad because it's non returnable and it doesn't have the clear covers that I like.

And from what I understand, FMIL told the person to buy the one that wasn't on the registry because SHE didn't think they were good....it's the martha stewart set I bought my mother 2 years ago for christmas and I LOVE them.

That's annoying! Can you exchange them or get store credit?

I might be able too. I can always resell them, supposedly they are Waaaay more expensive that the Martha Stewart ones I picked out. So maybe I can sell them for the price I would pay for the martha stewart.

you can always put the things you dont need/want up on ebay. lol. you sure they're not returnable? most places are really flexable with that kinda thing.
