Registry at Macy's

Hey girls! Just a lil FYI. Me and FH went to Macy's this weekend to register and it took FOREVER!! We waiting an hour before anyone ever saw us to help set up the registry and then they were having trouble with 3 guns so we had to wait for that. I was so annoyed by the time we got to enter items, I just let FH hold the gun cuz that made him happy. Plus he is better at electronics than I am. Anyways, it wasn't the best experience, they entered our wedding date wrong and we had to have them redo the way it was entered after waiting so long to get started in the first place. Anywho, I am sure that was just my experience. It was definitely the staff at our Macy's that didn't make our experience fabulous. I am sure others of you have had better experiences there, but I just wanted to share that! Thankfully it is all done and uploaded and we are doing great!

Re: Registry at Macy's

We had a similar experience at Bed Bath & Beyond, and i'm so frustrated now! First we started at our local store in West Babylon, but they had nothing, so we had to go up to Huntington to finish with the fine tableware. After all the time we spent, i went online to find a few things that we really wanted are not even on the web site, and what was in store was probably the last of it! They also had my name misspelled everywhere, and had registered us as a 'Birthday'. I just expect more from a national chain. I would hope they'd be better stocked and their systems better prepared to let a bride know what will still be around in a year, and available for others to purchase! My other thing is that i wanted to only go with BBB because my family is mostly upstate, and Macy's not only doesn't stock any of my china or other fine tableware, but they are more expensive. It turns out, BBB has just as poor of a selection in store upstate. I don't know what's going to happen now because i know my older relatives will not go online to buy things, or even be happy to have to pay shipping from the store that should have it in stock!
