Registry Card question

Registry Card question

I am trying to help my sister put together things for my shower & I am ordering business cards from vistaprint (since they're free )

On the cards, I am listing all the places that we are registered with the registry numbers- I know all my locations price match & accept competitor coupons, should I also put that on the card?

thanks for your input

I wouldn't. I would spread that information by word of mouth. People are going to shop the way they want to for this; it's like an event. I feel all that talk about discounts and coupons etc would distract from the invitation.

Personally, to me registries are a touchy subject. You kinda don't want to give off the vibe of 'You're invited to my wedding/shower, here's my registry, buy me a gift and here are the coupons'

I know you mean good, but some ppl might take it the wrong way. I say just add the registries to your invites if you must, and I guess through word of mouth-- have people throwing the shower in your honor mention that you have coupons if they need it.

I would leave it out- I think people will just shop where they want to and what's convenient for them.

I would only list the places. People will choose where to shop. I used vista print too. We received our STD from them and they came out great !

Don't stress it! In our circle they would probably call you annoyed that you didn't put info for them anyway, so either way

I would put the names & numbers that's it. THey probably know about the coupons & are savvy buyers. I like the idea of having them all on one card because the having several different registry cards can get a little crazy.
My sis put on the card that if people go through a certain website to get to my registries & get something, a donation will be made to my charity. (which is one of the reasons I even bothered with the registries because I liked the idea if that if someone chooses to get a voluntary gift the company will also give to a worthy cause, but it is completely up to them)

No...too much info.

Just put the stores. People will figure everything out on their own, they've been shopping before.....it's not your responsibility to make sure they get the best deal.

Re: Registry Card question

put your wedding website info on the card instead so it looks like you have all the wedding info on it and make sure you have a link to your registery so it doesnt look like you're expecting a gift.

I would just list the places...if they know the stores, they'll know that they can use coupons, don't stress out too much about it.

Also, I don't know if you've used VistaPrint before, but the 'slowest' shipping option usually arrives in 2 weeks (or less in some cases), so unless you ned it sooner, I wouldn't pay for the extra shipping fee.
