Okay ladies, let’s be honest here. Everything I read says don't put registry info with invites to eparties and showers but literally everyone I have ever received came with multiple pieces of paper with registry info. What are people doing? I think I am just going with providing wedding website info.

I've always heard it was okay to include registry info on shower invites. Oh well, we did anyway.

Yea, its fine to include it in shower invites, just not in the wedding invitation

I think it's fine for you or a host to include registry information in a shower invitation because opening gifts is an intergral part of the party. The foundation of a shower in general is all about giving gifts to the person being celebrated.
Regarding the eparty - I think thats your call. A registry may suggest gifts but when enclosed in an invite a 'gift' of some sort is automatically assumed but I also think it gives people more options.
If you have a personal wedding website I think its okay to include your registry info because people are voluntarily viewing and it may be helpful to include for guests. However, if you are expecting monetary gifts for the wedding itself, you may want to speak to your parents or bridal party to get the word out for you if people start asking questions in this regard. You could also have the information displayed under certain sections such as 'our engagement' or 'the bride' so as to guide guests.

Ok so...if what you read said no registry info with the invites....how are you supposed to tell people?? We make registry's for a reason! And its mainly for the shower! Weird. I think its definitely ok to put it with the invites. I agree with not putting it with the wedding invite though. Plus, I don't want gifts for the wedding....I want money! Thats how we do it on Long Island. There is a money cage, no present table!
For my eparty, I'm putting the registry info at the bottom of the invitation. Instead of an extra card or something, its just going to be on the actual invitation.

Definaly ok to put them in with your eparty and shower invites... Dont put them in with the wedding invitations though.. most ppl with have all the information already before you send out your wedding invites anyway.
If your doing STD cards you can put your wedding website on there so ppl can keep up with all your planning and the registry info will be on there too....

It is perfectly fine to include registry cards in the shower invites or even to write on the invite itself 'Register at Blah Blah Blah'.
They should not be in the wedding invitations.

I deg think you can put registry cards in your shower invites!!! E-party I dont recall seeing that but I dont see whats wrong with it.. Def not wedding invites!!

I'm only putting the registry cards in the shower invite. Our wedding website also has a link to our registry.

E-party they 'say' you shouldn't expect gifts so some people don't put it in it. The shower I think it is always in it. Especially because you aren't throwing it
