Registry Cookware question

I just found out that the Simply Calphalon Stainless Steel(10 piece) cookware has been discontinued & can't be bought anymore...

Now I have no clue what to register for....I don't want non-stick...Any suggestions??

Are you sure? I just checked my BB&B registry and mines still available on there.

Re: Registry Cookware question

hi! I was in the cookware business for years.
I only use All-Clad Triple ply stainless steel pans. For the fry pans i'm registering for the non-stick.
If i had to pick a second favorite it would be Cuisinart Stainless cookware.

Anything in hard anodized scratches really easy, and can never go in the dishwasher. It also takes a long time to heat up, but does stay hot longer. I have also always been turned off that to make it they take raw aluminum and dip it at least 6-8times in a chemical to get the hard anodized.

Copper you have to polish too much to keep pretty. It heats up really fast, but also cools down very fast.

In aluminum (which usually is covered in non-stick) its not bad, but wears quickly.

Hope this helps!!!!

I was just there last night & it states 'Limited Quantities' so I questioned them...They told me that it was discontinued & I believe it is going to be taken off all registries by 7/15!

We are registered for the Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless. One of the employees in fortunoff recommended it over the simply calphalon. Hope this helps!
