I finally went to register today, and basically had to drag FH along. He really didnt want to go, but I tried to tell him I really wanted his input for the stuff that would be ours. Well he basically followed me around, and everything I suggested he seemed to have a problem with. I started getting really annoyed and let him pick whatever he wanted. He registered for sweedish fish, the candy!
I don't know if i can get him into this at all!

HAHAHAHA Sweedish Fish!!!
I'm sorry he wasn't so excited. Maybe he would rather look at stuff online. I think that some registries allow you to change from home. Maybe he would like that better than walking around the store.
A friend of mine had the same problem and let her FH register for whatever he wanted... He registered for a $6,000 BBQ as a joke, but his family chipped in and only bought them that. She got nothing off the registry from them besides that because his family thought he really wanted that. She was so mad!!!! Atleast sweedish fish are cheap, LOL

My FH is the same way! We haven't even thought about registering yet but he's a chef so he will want to pick everything. This is how he is with ALL of the planning and our schedule's are so different he won't let me go to appt's without him! Hoe even wants to go to all of the bridal shows! My friends are like, 'Leave him home!!' I feel your pain Diamond!

My FH is so not interested in registering. I'm not sure where you did it, but, may I suggest doing it online? FH was into that, we just sat in front of the computer and did BBB and Macy's!
I know that a store trip will be necessary, but, that is something I can do alone so I don't have to hear his mouth!!

Re: Registry frustration!
I consider myself lucky that my FH doesn't want to register with me. He loves everything I pick...but it's not really his thing. I went with my mom and friends and had a blast. The only thing that he had wanted to look at was our China..which he loved what I picked. We kind of have the same taste anyway...so he trusts what I'm going to get.

yup, i gave him the gun and let him scan whatever he wanted. We are now officially registered for candy.
I did some stuff online, I think I will be handling the rest of this by myself.

Re: Registry frustration!
I know how you feel...it is hard getting FH interested in anything that has to do with the wedding, including registering.
