So how does the registry work when you go to a store? Do you just go to a sales rep and tell them you'd like to register? I know Target has little kiosks but do all stores have this?

BBB has a whole bridal registry section - so does Macys!

At Target, you go to the customer service section, and they will give you the scanning gun to run wild with. BBB has their registry area in the Fine China section, and they are very helpful!

BBB and Macys both have sections in the store to go up to to start registering. They have people there to help you pick out the china you like and suggest things that you register for (and are not pushy or trying to sell anything at all!)
We registered online first and then went to the stores to get the guns to save time, but you can do it all in the store too.
I would suggest going early, or making an appt your first time because we went one Sat afternoon and there were 20 brides in BBB and it was a madhouse and they almost ran out of guns!!
