Hello Ladies! My FH and I went to BB&B to register last night and we think we did pretty well, but still needed some help chosing a few things, so I figured I would put it out to the forum...
Which brands do you think are the most decent (not the very best) for:
Butcher Block Knives (for medium level cooking) Towels (something that washes well) Lugguage
All suggestions welcome!
Thanks!

Re: Registry Help!
i don't have brand suggestions, but with luggage, buy something that stands out (bright color, or a pattern) so that you can find it easily

Re: Registry Help!
I have a set of J.A. Henckels knives and love them. They are a mid-level set, so FH registered for a higher-level set since he does a lot more in-depth cooking than I do. I love the set I have though.

Re: Registry Help!
Henckles are the best knives out there and for luggage- I would choose something that's FEATHER light. Now that all the airlines are raping you for weight and extra bags- the lighter the better if you ask me!

Re: Registry Help!
for the luggage, get the type that has four wheels along the bottom so they can turn 360 degrees. Samsonite and Delsey are great brands, and I agree that you should get a color or pattern other than black. I hate my black luggage!

Re: Registry Help!
for knives its def henckels or wusthof (both of those brands make a high end line which is more professional and a lower end line - if you just want something basic you can get the low end bc i believe they are still covered by warranty - but confirm that when you register)
for luggage the best brand is travel pro, but a good brand is samsonite. I just got our spinner carry-ons today :)

Re: Registry Help!
Thanks everyone! My dad, a retired butcher said that the best thing to do would be to buy the Emeril's knives, because they are manufactured by Wushof. Plus, he said that really, people only need a pairing, chef and boning knife, so not to buy a huge set. We will see what we end up with.
