FH has been pestering me for us to do our registry (i'm 99% sure its just because he likes the idea of walking around with the scanning gun as if it is some kind of wedding video game.)
I'm wondering where you guys are registered and where you started with your list of what to register for.

We'll be registering at BBB later this month. We also registerd at Macy's a few months back but it was sort of like a practice run. I wanted to kill FH b/c everything I picked out he insisted that we 'didn't need it'. Umm excuse me, but now is the time to get a wine decanter and a hand mixer! So be careful. He may want to register, then turn into a miserable beast while you're there. Bring two cars lol.

We only set up a small registry at BBB so far..we are also going to do a Honeymoon Registry. I started with little items, things we could use now, and giftware since I registered before our Engagement Party. After our E-party I started adding more big ticket items, our everyday china (we are not registering for fine china) and sheets/towels. Where to start really depends on what you need. I say start there and then you can always add on as you see more.

I registered us at BB&B just because I thought that would be easiest for everyone to get things from and I love their stuff. They have a checklist right on their website, or you can google 'wedding registry must haves' for some ideas. I don't have a ton of things on ours just because we've been living together for so long we already have most of the things we need.

Richie is the same way! I'm started to think he patented the phrase 'we don't need it'! Someone already got us the decanter, but he's still worked up about the hand mixer I have on there haha men just don't get it!

hahahahah that's too funny. I went to Macy's to register with my friend because FH was working. He has yet to even ask me what I put on there! We're going to register at BBB and he says he wants to but I already know he's gonna be like 'Ugh babe can't we just do this online I don't want to waste my time here right now'. Good idea on taking 2 cars!

We registered at Macys because 5% of every purchase made towards your registry gets put onto a gift card for you at the end :)
When you go to macy's, they give you a checklist to go off of, but I would suggest going to the one in manhasset because it's not in a mall and it tends to be a little quieter and more organized there..
this is our registry if you want to take a look for ideas and whatever. It's pretty long lol but it's the only store we are registered at http://www1.macys.com/registry/wedding/guest/?registryId=205878

I didn't even think Michael would want to go, I assumed I would just go with my mom. He told me he did. So we went to BBB. He lasted just over an hour before I saw it was time to go. He was good with appliances but once it came to touching towels and looking at plates he was DONE! Needless to say I went back a few days later with my mom and then did Macys without him. He could care less whats on it
As far as what to put on it, I used some lists but I went through my moms kitchen and registered for things she said i needed hahaa

We registered at BBB, and FH LOVED IT. The woman who helped us told us to register for 3-4 items per person you are inviting to the wedding, and we totally took that to heart. We have way too many things on our registry, but I figure it gives people more options!

We registered early on because we rarely have time off together when it's not a weekend and super crazy, but we did three different places to give people a variety...we did Crate and Barrel, Bed Bath and Beyond and Macys.

Lol my FH is the same way too! He wants to have a say in what we register for, but anything I suggest, he says we don't need it.. I was going to register for a cake stand with the dome, and he's like, 'When have you ever baked a cake!' While he has a point there, I may start baking after we're married, you never know. Hahaha men!

Oh also, we've decided on BBB and Macy's. BBB coz we love their selection and Macy's coz of the rewards.
