I did a search for this, but didn't find anything comprehensive.... maybe we could start a thread for girls who are starting their registries and want to know which stores have the best incentives or free stuff for registering with them....

Macy's gives 10% off when you finish your regsitry and buy whatever wasn't bought for you....

I believe Pottery Barn has a 10% off completion incentive too.
I don't think Target has anything.

Bed, Bath & Beyond and Fortunoffs also give you the 10% off on the stuff that was not bought. BB&Beyond also gives you back cash on a return not store credit....they also give you a $25 gift card if you refer someone.

If you go to bridal shows, you'll find nice incentives to sign up at various places like Fortunoff, Bed Bath and Beyond, among many others.
I'm wating for the Great Bridal Expo in NYC coming in April to register for my registry... I think you get things like $100 spending money or goody bags when you sign up.
I've gone to some other expos but haven't sign up yet because I wasn't sure which registry is best. But from reading the posts on LIW it seems Bed Bath and Beyond is a great choice since you can guests %20 off with those BBB coupons AND you also get cash back if you return the registry merchandise.

I love Macy's incentives...but I don't like that they put it at the top of the registry and let the guests know.

The 10% off BB&B doesnt start unitll AFTER your wedding... So its kinda a bummer if you want and need the stuff now...

Macy's does bnetter than that! if you have a macy's card and you enroll in the program wiht he registry, after the wedding you get 10% back on all of your purchases until the wedding from when you subscribed, and 5% back on every registry purchase made by a guest. it's awesome! We weren;t going to register, but since they started this program we plan to.

fortunoff's gives you 10% off 2 times (after you are married) good for 6 months after your wedding fortunoff's also has the wedding survival party which gives you a $25 gc to the store if you register for $3000 I think Fortunoff's give % off of rings, bridal party gifts, maximus salon makeup trial and some other stuff
macy's if you have their credit card, they give you 5% for all the purchases made on your registry as a gift card back to you after your wedding. macy's gives you 10% off for purchases after your wedding - but it is only good for 3 months after your wedding
crate and barrel gave us tosting flutes, 10 pretty note cards, and a whustoff pairing knife when we registered in store during their registry event. crate and barrel gives you 10% off of registry purchases (you can add to your registry after the event) and that is good for 6 months after your wedding.

fortunoff has ten percent off anything left in your registry....and i believe honors sales from other stores...
