Registry item purchased - never received

Registry item purchased - never received

Has this happened to anyone? My shower was a while ago and we got everything, but someone purchased a $19 clearance box of Macy's glasses for us and we never received them. I'm wondering if someone returned them and got us something else? Could that be possible?

Someone purchased a rather large computer table we did not register for, but they added it to our registry. We never received that. We're thinking they purchased it for themselves while purchasing our gift and it showed up on our registry.

Me too..I have this beautiful lenox bowl I was looking forward to...its no where to be found BUT a lot of my gifts were on back order so everyday is like christmas bc a box comes everyday its fun!

SOmeone bought a jar of cashews at BBB and it ended up on my registry! LOL....MY FH called me up and said 'babe, you are going to be so excited...someone bought the cashews'. LOL...I had no clue what he was talking about...then I checked...whoever bought something that day off the registry MUST have wanted cashews!

It could be on back order. Or, someone might have purchased it for the wedding.

We received a serving plate a few weeks before the wedding and figured it was for the shower since that person didnt attend. BUT, when we received the matching bowl 2 weeks ago, we knew it was for the wedding and the date on the invoice was for when we received the other plate.

I thought I was mising something from the registry, but figured I must have just stored it away and forgot I got it.

Another opinion. . . I had a missing item from my registry after my shower. I went to Fortunoffs and they told me who bought it. I had already gotten a generous gift from this person and got a check at the wedding. At the time of my shower she mentioned that she loved my choices of silver items. Bottom line , she bought it for herself. I took it as a great complement to my taste.

This happened to us too Our AWESOME heated mattress pad was purchased but we never received it, we were so disappointed!!

i had 2 items, but ended up recieving them as a gift at the wedding

that happened to me someone bought my deep fryer around the time of my shower I never got it I guess they either returned it or kept it for themselves
