I was just looking at my registries and I think I may have gone overboard.... anyone else ever feel this way??? My mom keeps telling me that I should have a lot of stuff so people have lots of choices in different price ranges but I don't want to seem greedy....

I agree. I feel like I don't have enough and need to add more. It's always good to give people options. I say the more, the better.

i think having more is better so ppl have more of a selection....some ppl will want to spend more than others so having a range of stuff is good.

I feel the same way... FH has a huge family and he keeps saying we need to add.... It is crazy though... we have sooo many different kinds of glasses on our registry. I do feel greedy.....

I feel I have added enough..not too much and not too little. The only major things we need to add is bathroom accessories, nice bathroom towels, and bedding.

Re: Registry Overboard....
I know I've seen people on here say that most people from NY give money instead of gifts. I feel that this is not the same in Michigan where I am from and where half our guests will be.
And coming from someone who, multiple times, has waited til the last minute to get a gift and has been stuck with the pond-scum of leftovers no one else wanted to buy ... I urge you to ADD AWAY if there's stuff you can think of.
The people who DO want to buy a gift will buy you something no matter what. I know theres some people who just don't like handing over cash for whatever reason and those people will buy you a gift whether its from your registry or not so might as well make sure there's plenty of stuff from them to pick from.
And go ahead and add some more expensive things. I, several times, have gone in with a group of people to get someone a larger-ticket item. So, never know? Go ahead, let FH ask for an XBox. LOL.

Re: Registry Overboard....
I've sworn not to look at my registry but I did add one more thing to it. I only saw the first page of items (the good china) and resisted all temptation to scroll down...it was really, really hard!!!
Anyway, I had to see if BBB had the Keurig Milk Frother...they did so I added that. It may seems like a wacky gift to ask for, but just like that machine, I would NEVER spend that kind of money on myself for a coffee machine. FH on the other hand thought I could use it. LOL
I wish FH would have gone around with me and picked things, but he never had the time or something. Now that he's been in BBB, he wishes he would have. LOL I'm game for him going with my MOH and adding. Just don't take away my frother!!!! LOL

i have a tonnnnn of stuff on mine-but we dont live together, so we need EVERYTHING
ive looked at your registry btw
i think it's fine..you have a lot of lil stuff that will be perfect for a wishing well, and then other things ppl can buy
as a guest, id rather have more options than not enough

i feel like that sometimes too...but i just keep reassuring myself that people need a wide range to choose from...just in case something is out of stock, hard to find, keep everything in everyone's various budgets, etc.

I think having to much is good. It will give people a wide variety of choices. Its also a good idea because many places will give you a discount on anything left on your registry after your wedding. I put everything on my registry that I though I might want later on.

Thank you for stalking my registry!! LOL!!! Everything I put on there I know I will use... so I would be happy to get any of it and I know there are things people won't buy that I will end up just buying for myself... so I guess it should be ok.

Re: Registry Overboard....
whats great about it is that you can update your registry all the time ! have all the things you want most and than if you notice people are buying stuff you can add more later. make sure to have different price points though.
