I don't want to sound mean but I think a lot of people are going to buy us other things. Stuff we did not register for . . . basically crap we don't want.

My shower is June 26 and I would think there would be a heck of a lot more stuff off. My mother bought a huge chunk of it so I'm wondering what people are waiting for. As much as I appreciate all my bakeware I wish someone would buy us our towels

My shower is next weekend, and I have so much stuff still left on my registry too. I am not worried though, b/c I feel like we have been in the house for a year and a half and made due. So anything we get will just be extra. But for the girls that are nervous b/c nothing is coming off, I do think most people wait till the last minute to buy things, I know I always do.

I checked again to see if anything was bought and NOTHING. What is going on?? Do you think everyone is waiting till the day before to go to BBB????? Don't get it.

My mom seems to think that people are going to buy stuff that is not on the registry. Not to sound rude but...why did I waste my time even registering??????????????????

I konw!! ha ha.. we were talking a few weeks ago about RANKING the # order of importance for our registry!!! I wish that was an optinon!!

That happened to my SIL last weekend. I was wondering why so little seemed to be coming off her registry ( she had about 40 people) and it was b/c like 1/2 the stuff was non registry stuff

( But on a plus side 3 of her aunts gave her large cash gifts and she also got a few GC's to victoria secret, fortunoff, etc.)

At this point, i'd settle for crap. No one seems to be buying us anything and our e-ment BBQ is next Saturday. I wouldn't care, except that when my FHs sister got engaged last year she really cleaned up.

I wouldnt worry. Your wedding is in the middle of September. You have a little over 3 months. My wedding is in less than 2 months and only 3 gifts have been bought off the registry. Your shower may not be until August and people definately wait until LAST minute. I know I do.

OK. So my shower is tomorrow and STILL hardly anything is off the BBB registry. I am sooooo disappointed.

I really just don't get it. But I am kind of upset by it!!

Dont worry, you have a few months, I was like that too, but the week of my shower, things started flying off. People like to wait until the last minute.
