Registry Peeker Anonymous

Okay, as of today, I am making a firm commitment to NOT peak at my registry for at least one week. I'm starting to think it would be fun to actually be surprised by some gifts. So one week, here I go.

I just got an e-mail from Bed Bath and Beyond, tellin tme 'becaue your wedding is approaching, and showers are happeingin, please take this opportunity to check your registry, and update your address, and make sure there are still enough items left on your account for people to buy'

SEE!!! so they are CONDONING this behavior!!! BBB said it's OK!

I for one checked ALL the time!

I am definately a peeker but I try so hard not to
Then I had a shower at work and they got me things that I had on my registry list but they didnt get it off my registry so I had to check them out and delete things!!

I am so bad!

Hi, I'm a peeker & I admit it. I just cannot help myself. And yes, BB & B and of the places tell us to peek!!

Okay, it's Monday, and I have managed not to peak! I think I should look soon though--I think a work shower is coming up...

FYI--BB&B messed up one of my gifts. We received one this weekend, no card, no invoice. It was sent from NYC, so it could have been from anyone. I called them twice, and they couldn't figure out who sent it. Luckily, the coworker who sent it asked me about it today. He said they seemed like a mess when he was there. Other than that though, I've had no problems with BB&B.

Hi my name is Casandra and I am a horrible registry peeker. So is my FH. Actually I was doing so good yesterday not peeking that my FH peeked.
I think just the fact that you can change the registry on-line is tempting all of us to peek... I never want to know what I am getting.... But with my registry I am weak.

I have been trying lately not to peek with bridal shower apporching and all. I kind of want to be surprised at least for something. My bridal shower is in two weeks let's if I can hold out for that long

I too, peek as well. And unfortunately, it's a secret I have to keep to myself, b/c beleive it or not, FH gets mad at me for looking.

So, thank goodness I have this site to spill the beans..........

OMG I just checked my registry and someone bought the Cahalon Pot Set I wanted. I'm sooooo excited, I didn't think I would get it because they are so expensive but it's one of the first things to go!!!!!! Ok, I have to try to stay off, I really want to be surprised!!!!

Ooo we can registry watch together!!! I want my Dyson too! of course its like putting a corvette on the birthday list.....
I'm just worried cause when I peeked either someone's other purchase went on the registry or they got the wrong dishes!!!! Same color and style but wrong shape and price!!! If it really was a mistake what do I say at the shower lie and hope they don't notice the box with the right set?!?!?!
