registry question

registry question

ok....so i think it is safe to assume that you register at more than one place.....now...here comes my question.....(i thought i knew it all...turns out I DEFFINATELY DONT!!! hahahah)

OK, so i register at BB+B and i do my appliances there, and mybakeware and my pots and pans etc.......so then i got to register at say....Macys....then why am I registering?? Do i register for the same stuff???? so i register for less and BB+B so that I am able to add more unduplicated things at Macys?? Im soooooo confused about this.....Hope it doesnt seem too stupid for you girls...and I hope you can all understand my question.

Doesn't sound stupid at all...My BB&B registry consists of small appliances, pots, bakeware, gadgets, bathroom stuff & some kitchen towels

I am going to Fortunoff's to register for my everyday dishes, stemware, utensils & serving platters...
