A friend who is attending our E-Party asked if we registered anywhere, I said yes, Fortunoff's. But I only have a few things, like china, dessert plates, crystal dessert bowls, and a few vases. Should I add a few more 'practical' items?

Re: Registry Question
Register for what you'll need. Vacuums, pots, etc. If you don't need anything, you can either register for upgraded stuff or hope for cash. My registry at BB&B started out slow since we live together and I thought we had it all, and now I have over 100 items! We registered for chna, flatware, sheets, towels, etc.

...and I will add that if you have things individually, or you live together and already have stuff for the house, take a really good inventory of what you do have and its condition. Some of those things could probably be replaced - especially the linens!

Re: Registry Question
Others may disagree with me, but I believe a regsitry should include things that you need rather than things that people can afford or would like to get for you. There is no law that states a guest MUST buy from a registry. A registry is simply a wish list.
