Just curious........how many items did you register for?? My FH and I were told that if we are having about 250 guests, we need to register for approximately 500 items.... between all of our registries, we can only get about 85??

Yikes, I'm only at about 30 items! I know we're missing some items but we're not sure what we'll need just yet.

that whole 'you need to have 3-4 items per guest' is bogus. register for however much you want! if you want to register for 50 things...go for it. 500....go right ahead. the stores tell you that--but really it's not like the wedding police are gonna pull you over. if you already have lots of stuff consider a HM registry at honeymoonwishes.com otherwise, don't sweat it!

Don't forget, people will be buying off of your registry for your shower as well as the wedding. Sometimes your coworkers will even chip in for something even if they are not invited No worries!

I have no idea of the exact number of items, especially since I registered at two places. I know between the two places, I have like 12 pages. Only b/c we don't live together and have NOTHING!

Right now I don't have my minimum. But all the stores suggested we not put any bathroom or bedroom stuff on there til 3-4 months before the wedding or before your shower. So when I put the bed and bath stuff on, hopefully i will have enough.
IMO, its not the amount of items you have on the list, but that you have a pretty even amount of different price ranges for your guest.
