Registry Question..

When are you ladies going to start looking for items for your registries???

I already started looking. Just to get an idea of what I want. I have been playing arond with prices to see what is really worth it and what isn't. You may also want to compare prices between stores to get a better deal and find a store easily accessable to your guests.

Mine's half done.

We're having an e-party so I had to get started, but I heard that you shouldn't register for sheets or towels until right before your shower because stuff gets discontinued and you might end up with a set that gets half bought now and then you can't complete it.

Also, we started to register for outdoor cups and things, but I figured it must be the same for the seasonal stuff. i didn't want to end up with half of a set.

Im not having an e-party. so I was afraid if I started registering now, the stores may not have the stuff on my list by next year?

I am not having an e-party, but in the next month I am going to send out STD's and create a website, so we will probably register in the next month or 2 for some stuff.

We're having an eparty, but are not registering for it. I don't think we will register for the wedding until 2007, maybe 6-8 months before the wedding. . . I don't want stuff to go out of stock and discontinued.

We're probably going to register in Oct/Nov this year.........we're so bad........I want to be registered before Christmas so people can buy us stuff for Christmas gifts!

I am itching to register!!! But I'm afraid that if I register too soon, things will get discontinued. I think I'll probably start in a couple of months.

I started registering for the basic stuff that i dont need to see im person. FH and I are going to go to the store and finish sometime in september. We registered at Linens and Things and also as Kohls.
