Registry Question

Registry Question

Did you find that people still bought wedding gifts off of your registry after you already had an engagement party and a shower or did most guests bring an envelope? I keep taking things off my registry because I dont expect a lot of wedding gifts from the registry.

We didn't get anything off the registry after my shower. All of our wedding gifts were monetary.

I'm expecting to get some gifts off the registry for the wedding, we have some OOT guests where it's the norm to do that where they live.

One thing though, I'm planning on leaving things on since a lot of places give you a discount on any unpurchased items after the wedding.

I agree. I have family that lives upstate and they are used to giving gifts off the registry.
