Registry question

When you register, do you pick the same items if you are doing more than one store?

Re: Registry question

I'm not. Where are you going to do a registry? I like fortunoff. I went to their bridal party expo last night. They have so many nice things.

No don't duplicate your registry. I would make sure that you registar for everything you want one time and make sure your girls send both registry cards to guests at eparty and showers.

No you dont duplicate items. Each store you go to you register for different things. You will end up with a lot of doubles it you register for the same stuff in each store.

My fortunoff registry is very similiar to my macy's registry. It gives people a chance to shop where they want. There are some items only one store carries, but by glassware, flatware, and cookware are the same.

Re: Registry question

I wouldn't duplicate items. Pick different things from different stores... people can still have options on where to shop, but the selection at each store should be different otherwise you'll end up getting so many unnecessary duplicates!

i registered for my everyday dinnerware and glassware at pottery barn.... my fine china & flatware at fortunoff.... some kitchen stuff at williams sonoma, and other smaller kitchen items and some appliances at bed bath. HTH

Yep, you will end up with a lot of duplicates if you register for the same things. Then you will have more to return/exchange!

E.....We haven't even registred yet, and we're doing the same BBB and Macy*s We don't plan on registering for the same things at different places. You'll be returning sh!t forever! Just choose items you like most at either place, this way you save yourself the aggravation of a return line

No. I registered at BB&B Macy's and Target. I did a little on each one and didn't duplicate anything.

I wouldn't because you will get duplicates.

We did different things except for fine china and stemware, we put them on both for now, but will eventually eliminate it from one, Im not sure which though

I wouldn't duplicate.. just register for different things in each place. People will just go to the store and print out the registry not knowing if you registered for the same thing somewhere else.

I am registered BBB and I don't think we will duplicate if we register somewhere else!

Re: Registry question

I didn't.... I don't want duplicates and you'll surely get duplicates if you do that, I think.

I did my 'higher end' stuff at one store: fortunoff's (where i registered for my china, fine glassware, etc. etc.)

I did my everyday china, basic appliances, bedding, etc. at Macy's.
