Registry Question

I am registered at Linens N Things, Macys & Fortunoff- where would your guess be that most people will buy from? I am not sure where to put the bulk of my items... tia

I registered at BBB and Macys and EVERYONE bought from BBB. I mean like I had 3 things off my macys, thankfully it was nothing I wanted really badly.

If most of your people are from OOT, I would say Macys or LnT since they are everywhere.

We only registered at BBB and Macys and to be honest I have a ton more on my BBB than Macys. They really didn't seem to have a lot to choose from.

Maycs or Linens n Things

depends on where your family lives.

I don't know! We did BBB, Macy's and Crate & Barrel... and overwhelmingly BBB items were bought for our e-party and for stalking now. I did put any overlap at BBB.

I don't know if it's what we have on our Macy's registry or the fact that it's Macy's, but barely anyone has bought anything from there. Just a few wine glasses, some plates, our 65pc silverware set, one pillow case...

I think people preferred BBB because you dont have to deal with the mall, they let you use the 20% off, and they are everywhere.

My guess out of your list would maybe be Fortunoff?

I just got an email from a friend that stated that Linens and Things just filed for Bankruptcy

Just an FYI, I think Linen's and Things might be in bankruptcy or headed there, and I know Fortunoff's has been having problems too.

I am splitting my registries between Bed Bath Beyond and Bloomingdales, so the lower priced items will be in BBB and stuff like china, crystal, etc. will be at Bloomingdales. We figure the really close friends and relatives will do Bloomingdales, and not so close people and family friends will do BBB (also a good option for students and people who are in their first job because they don't have tons of money but they can still get you a nice present for $20-30).

yea I had heard that too but supposedly they are doing business as usual- they are one of my clients so I'll find out early if anything happens
