My wedding is 9 months away (yay!) and i still haven't done my gift registry ... b/c i'm clueless about it :)
Should i start or i have time? I'm not having a bridal party anytime soon, so how do i inform people of my registry???
i know some of you girls registered ! and others will be ...when??

Re: Registry Question....
I registered a few months ago...you dont have to do right away...but the sooner you do it, the more time you have to add more stuff and take stuff off.

Re: Registry Question....
good that nothing is set in stone! you can still add new stuff and remove things -ok nice.
you cant do everything is online right?! you first need to go to the store?

I am 99% sure you can do it all online but the problem with that is some stuff is only avaiable in store or only available online, so your best bet is start it in the store then add things online so you see everything

Re: Registry Question....
Hi there,
I found that bed bath and beyond were really helpful because they walk you through all aspects of registering. And they can either have an associate walk around with you as you register, or they can give you a tour of everything you need. Places will also give you checklists but they have EVERYTHING on there - you want to register for an amount relative to how many people you think will be invited to your shower! I printed a checklist from bbb and sat with my mom to see what she recommended me going with. After you register, it's good to take a look at the ocmplete list, and delete 'impulse scans' or add one or two other things, change colors, make sure you have a good representation of different prices, etc. Basically, look at it like the eyes of a guest would!
BBB, Macys will give you cards (as many as you need) that your bridal party can throw into your shower invites, or they can print on the invites 'registered at .....' As long as your'e not hosting your own shower, this is not tacky and totally okay! Hope this helps!!

Going to the store is nice because you'll want to touch/feel things, especially like blankets, sheets, towels. And even pots, you can really feel if a weight is too heavy, or too cheap feeling. You CAN do everythign online, but I recommend online for just minor adjustments only!

You can definitely do everything on line. I am living in Ecuador so I can´t exactly go in to do it. But I agree that it´s a good idea to go into the store as well. I had to send my mom in to look at certain things for me. Sometimes the color could be a little off or you want to see the quality of something in person. Plus I think it´s prob easier (and much more fun!!) to go in and zap everything with a gun!!
