after your shower, are you keeping your registry as is, or eliminating many of the items that aren't purchased?
i was thinking of only leaving the more expensive items on, either for wedding gifts or the completion stuffs..
would that be weird?

Re: registry question...
I 'm just going to leave it most places will give you a % off what is left on the registry. And most registries stay up for a year or two people can still get you things for b-day or holiday gifts.

Re: registry question...
no i think it's completely normal to leave the stuff on especially the stuff that you really want but didnt' get. I wouldn't take it off until after the wedding. Like you said some people may still purchase it as a wedding gift

Re: registry question...
After my shower I'm only going to leave on there the bigger stuff that wasn't purchased... formal china at Macy's, my everyday dishes from Crate & Barrel... my flatware and stemware... I know that FH's family is only going to buy gifts since that is what they are used to and as awful as this makes me sound I don't want to get a toaster as a wedding present.

Re: registry question...
I'm keeping mine up for birthday and other holiday gifts and asking ppl to buy things off my registry instead of things I don't need!

Re: registry question...
I will just leave what is on. Some people like to 'clean up' your registry.
i.e. get a whole bunch of the smaller, less expensive items.

Re: registry question...
I'm leaving it as is and then will have friends, FH and family buy things off of it for holidays. Everything we registered for I actually want/need.

I am going to leave it. It can stay as a wish list for the following year!

Re: registry question...
i just kept everything - i would say 90 percent of my gifts were bought anyway so there is really nothing left
